It took me 72 Hour to find out my Hard Disk was damaged!

Finally this afternoon, 2021-05-16, I confirmed that my Western Digital MyBook with 4TB failed with 100% bad sector!  It took me almost 72 hours to find out that it was damaged! To be precise 64 Hours 41 Minutes.   Yes, my computer has to run without shutting down continually for almost 3 days!

What happened?  My computer could not detect the hard disk, it says I need to “initialize disk” as shown:

I tried MBR and GPT, but it pops up an error message:

I was not sure what happened.  After numerous attempts and done some research, I decided to buy AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional 9.2 to see if I could use the software to fix the problem.  I bought another Toshiba External Hard Disk:

Then I run the software program and see what happened:

It was perfect.  Then I run the program on MyBook and here is what came out:

I think given a choice, I will never buy the classic hard disk.  I paid $159 for Toshiba 4TB hard disk.  Samsung 860 EVO 4TB would cost $855.  SSD is more than 5 times more expensive than the classic hard disk, for the same storage size!
