How to know if you Western Digital Mirror is Faulty?
Bought the Western Digital Mirror Gen 2 8TB it in 2016-11-26. Less than a year, one of the drive is now faulty!
First thing I noticed is that one of the LED lights turned red (normal is blue).
Then, as I login to the dashboard, I saw the Diagnostic displayed “Caution”.
Then, as I click on the “Diagnostics”, this is what was found:
At the Dashboard >> Storage >> Disk Status >> Drive2
Spoken with Western Digital Support. Asked to go down. They will replace 1-for-1. If no hard disk is available, they will send to me home address.
On 2017-10-30, I went to the support centre and it was a 1-for-1 replacement without any questions asked.
